このACKパケットが所定の時間間隔内に受信されないならば、ローカルDTE１は、再びそのRTS信号を高め、トランシーバにテストシーケンス及びデータパケットを今回は異なる周波数(例えば、fc2)で再送信させる。

If this ACK packet is not received within a predetremined time period, the local DTE 1 again raises its RTS signal and causes transceiver to retransmit the test sequence and dtat packet, but this time at a different frequency (eg. fc2).
