選択的ドライエッチング

上記半導体層は、絶縁性Ｓｉ化合物層との選択的ドライエッチングが可能なので、半導体層に貫通孔を開ける際に絶縁性Ｓｉ化合物層はエッチングされず、第２の導体層が絶縁性Ｓｉ化合物層の下部にある単結晶半導体層と電気的に短絡するのを防ぐことができる。
